Your account is the bridge between your devices. Sign in with the same Google account or email on each one, and your progress, badges and best scores come with you.
How do I move my progress to a new phone or computer?
- On your old device, sign in (Settings, SIGN IN / CREATE ACCOUNT) if you have not yet. Your progress is saved to your account.
- On the new device, sign in with the same Google account or email.
Your progress arrives on its own. Pro bought in the app comes back on a new Android phone with the same Google account; see Restore Math Workout Pro.
What does "Combine progress?" mean?
If this device and your account both have some progress (at least 5 workouts each), Math Workout asks what to do:
- Combine joins them: badges from both, workout counts added up, the best of your records.
- Use my account only keeps your account's progress and removes this device's own progress.
- Cancel, don't sign in on this device leaves everything as it was.
With less progress than that on either side, this device's progress simply joins your account. One account per person keeps everyone's progress and scores apart, so on a shared family device, give each person their own account.
What happens when I sign out?
Open Settings and tap SIGN OUT.
- In a browser, your progress stays in your account and is removed from that browser. It comes back when you sign in again.
- In the Android app, you choose: Sign out and clear this device (best if someone else will use the phone) or Sign out and keep progress here.
If you are offline and your latest progress has not reached your account yet, Math Workout warns you first, so nothing is lost by accident. On the website you need to sign in again to keep playing after signing out.
How long do I stay signed in?
Up to 90 days at a time. Each visit tops it up again, for up to a year after you signed in. On a shared computer, tick Shared computer on the sign-in screen: you are then signed out after 30 minutes away.
Can I sign out of my other devices?
Changing your password signs out every other device. If you think someone else is using your account, reset your password (see Sign in with email) and write to us on Contact support.
Will my leaderboard name be the same everywhere?
Usually, yes. When you are signed in, your account has one leaderboard player and one name, and in a browser your scores join it. In the Android app, if your account already has a player, a phone that had its own name and scores before keeps them as a separate player, unless you choose Combine. See Change your leaderboard name.
