When an update brings something new to see, Math Workout shows a What's new card on the home screen the next time you open it. You can see it again from Settings. Here are the recent updates, newest first.
6 November 2026: a clearer update notice
- A clearer update notice. When a newer version is ready, the home screen now asks once: Restart now, or Later. See The update notice.
5 November 2026: Math Run is here, plus a better Galaxy Run, Brain Cruncher and Mental Math Master
- Math Run A new running game: head for the gate with the right answer, stay ahead of the Muddle and see how far you can go. Three lands to reach, and a daily Top Runners board.
- Fly from a planet you have reached On the Galaxy Run map, choose a planet you have reached before and continue from it. Your score starts again from 0, so a full run from Additron still makes the biggest scores.
- Brain Cruncher, rebuilt A fresh look, Memory Climb (how long a chain can you hold?), Custom practice with Pro, and a Chain Replay that shows how every total changed.
- Mental Math Master, rebuilt A fresh look, Echo (how many answers can you hold in your head?), Very Hard and Custom practice with Pro, and Listen back with a tip for the tricky questions.
21 October 2026: Choose your keypad
- Calculator keypad Like 7 8 9 on the top row? In Settings, choose Calculator under Keypad layout and every keypad in the app changes to match.
20 October 2026: A new galaxy every day
- How far can you fly? Fly from Additron as far as you can, or carry on from the furthest planet you reached today with a fresh score. Full runs from Additron make the biggest scores. A new galaxy arrives at midnight UK.
- One path to the Infinity Gate Ten planets now line up in one path. Clear each one to fly on to the next, all the way to General Obelus.
- A whole new look Spin the new 3D galaxy map, fly through brand new mission and result screens, and hear new music on Bondaria, Cryptara and Radixia.
- Clearer help on new planets Bondaria, Cryptara and Radixia show how to play until you clear them, and Bondaria's first ships show the whole sum.
19 October 2026: A bigger Galaxy Run
- Fly on Clear a planet and press FLY ON. Your score, ships, bombs and chain come with you to the next planet.
- Three new planets Bondaria is all about number bonds, and Cryptara hides a missing number in each question. Radixia, for Pro pilots, brings squares and roots.
- Daily patrol Fly a run every day to light up all 7 patrol pips. Top Pilots now has a weekly board too: your best run of each day, added up.
- A clearer Pro screen See everything Pro unlocks, with the real price for your country.
