Delete your Math Workout account & data
Use this page to permanently delete your Math Workout account and the data associated with it. This is the official deletion channel for the Math Workout app.
Fastest: delete it yourself
- Sign in to Math Workout, in the Android app or on our website.
- Open Settings, find the Account card and choose “Delete my account”.
- Confirm with your password or your Google sign-in. Your account and its data are deleted at once.
Got an email from us about an account you didn’t create? The “This wasn’t me” link in that email removes it.
Or ask us to do it
Can’t sign in, or never made an account but want your leaderboard entries removed? Send us a request:
- Tell us who you are. In the form below, enter your account email (if you created an account) and/or your in-app name exactly as it appears on the leaderboard, so we can find your data.
- Confirm the request by ticking the box.
- Submit the form or, if you prefer, email support@mathworkout.app with the subject “Delete my data” and the same details.
- We’ll delete your data and confirm by email within 30 days.
What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account details: email & sign-in credentials (if you created an account), and your sign-in sessions | Deleted |
| Saved progress: achievements, medals, scores and best times, practice history and Brain-Age history synced to our servers | Deleted |
| Play counts kept for the free allowance | Deleted |
| Leaderboard entries: your display name, scores, and country | Deleted |
| Links between your devices and your account, and the device identifier we use to recognise your device for leaderboards/Pro | Deleted |
What we keep, and for how long
| Data | Status & retention |
|---|---|
| Purchase / refund records for any Pro purchase (no game data; your email is removed from them) | Kept Retained where required for legal, tax and accounting purposes, typically up to 6 years, then deleted. |
| Log of changes to Pro status | Kept Deleted after 400 days. |
| Anonymised, aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you | Kept Retained indefinitely in anonymised form. |
| Copies in routine backups | Kept briefly Purged on our normal backup rotation, within 30 days of deletion. |
Pro bought in the Android app is processed by Google Play and stays with the phone it was bought on: it restores there even after your account is deleted. Payment data held by Google is governed by Google’s own policy and is not controlled by us; to manage it, see your Google account settings. Pro bought on our website belongs to your account, so deleting the account also removes that Pro.
