How do I create an account with my email?

1. Open Settings and tap SIGN IN / CREATE ACCOUNT.
2. Tap New here? Create an account.
3. Type your email and a password of at least 8 characters, then tap Create account.
4. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it on the Check your email screen and tap Confirm.

You are signed in straight away. In the Android app you can keep playing while you wait for the email; on the website, Math Workout asks for the code before your next play.

Where is my verification code?

The email's subject is Your Math Workout code followed by the 6 digits. If it is not in your inbox after a minute or two, look in your spam or junk folder. The code works for 30 minutes.

How do I get a new code?

On the Check your email screen, tap Send a new code. You can ask for a new one every 45 seconds; the screen counts down until you can. Each new code replaces the one before, so always use the newest email. After 5 wrong tries a code stops working, and you need a new one.

I typed the wrong email address. What now?

On the Check your email screen, tap Use a different email. You go back to the start and can create the account with the right address.

What does the button in the email do?

If you signed up on the website, the email also has a Confirm my email button. It works only in the same browser you signed up in, for 24 hours. On any other device, type the code instead. If you signed up in the Android app, the email has only the code.

Someone used my email to sign up. What can I do?

The email has a link: Didn't sign up? Remove this account. It removes the account as long as nobody has confirmed it yet. If that does not work, write to us on Contact support.

Do I have to confirm my email?

Please do. Until you confirm it, Settings shows Confirm your email to keep your account safe, the website keeps asking for the code before you can play on, and a Pro purchase made in the app is not linked to the account. Accounts that are never confirmed may be removed after 30 days, unless they hold a purchase or saved progress.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password?
2. Type your email and tap Send code.
3. Type the code from the email and a new password, then tap Save password.

A reset signs you out on every other device, to keep your account safe. The reset email does nothing if you did not ask for it: just ignore it.

Why does it say "That email and password don't match"?

The email or the password is wrong, or the account was made with Google and has no password. Try Continue with Google, or reset your password. After many tries in a row, wait a few minutes before trying again.
