Leaderboards, the daily reset and fair play

Which games have leaderboards?

• World Challenge: TODAY'S SCORES, with columns for correct answers and time
• Galaxy Run: TOP PILOTS, with a TODAY tab and a THIS WEEK tab
• Prime Raiders: its own leaderboard
• Math Run: TOP RUNNERS

The other workouts keep your own best times instead, on your score screens.

When do the leaderboards reset?

Every day at midnight UK time (London time, which follows the clock change in spring and autumn). World Challenge shows how long is left: "Crown decided in ... · midnight UK". Yesterday's winner stays on show the next day.

How is my rank worked out?

The board shows each player's best score of the day: every run counts, but only your best one is on the board. Your rank is one more than the number of players with a better best today. On Galaxy Run and Math Run, equal scores share a rank.

In World Challenge, more correct answers always win, and the time decides between players with the same number correct.

What is the weekly leader?

Each board also shows the week's leader: the single best score since Monday at midnight UK time. Galaxy Run's THIS WEEK tab works differently: it adds up each pilot's best run of every day since Monday, so flying every day helps you climb.

Why is there a flag next to my name?

The flag shows the country your score was sent from. Our own server works it out from your internet connection when a score arrives; no other company is asked, and we do not store your internet address with your scores. If the country is unknown, or we have no flag for it, you see a globe.

Why is my score not on the board?

• Offline: the score waits on your device and is sent when you are back online.
• Practice: World Challenge practice runs and Math Run Practice runs are not ranked.
• No name yet: Galaxy Run and Prime Raiders ask for a pilot name before your first score goes up.
• A new day: after midnight UK time the board starts again.

How do you keep the boards fair?

Our server checks Galaxy Run and Math Run scores as they arrive and turns away ones the game could not produce. Names pass a filter for rude words. We may remove entries that are offensive, impersonate someone, or are clearly fraudulent. To report a name or a score, write to us on Contact support.
