Math Workout is played by children, teenagers and adults. We keep it simple and calm: no ads and no chat.

Does Math Workout show ads?

No. There are no ads, no advertising trackers, and we never sell or rent your data. The Android app contains no advertising code.

What does Math Workout collect?

  • On the device: your progress and settings.
  • For the leaderboards: the name you choose, your scores and an approximate country, worked out on our own server from the internet connection.
  • With an account: the email address or Google sign-in, your progress so it can sync, and any Pro purchase.
  • To improve the app: usage statistics through Google Analytics, with Google's advertising features turned off, as our Privacy Policy explains.

We do not ask for an age, a birthday or a real name. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What is public?

Only the leaderboard name, the score and a country flag. Nothing else about a player or an account is shown. Encourage your child to use a nickname, not a real name. Names pass a rude-word filter, and we can remove offensive names. There is no chat and no way for players to message each other.

Does my child need an account?

Not in the Android app. On the website, an account is needed after 3 plays. If your child is below the age of digital consent in your country, they need your permission to create one. One account per person keeps each person's progress and scores apart. See Why sign in?.

Will my child see offers to buy Pro?

Free players see the Pro screen from time to time, for example when the day's free workouts are used up. Purchases go through Google Play in the Android app, where your family's payment settings apply, or a card checkout on the website. Pro is a one-time purchase, never a subscription.

Is Math Workout suitable for school?

Math Workout works in the browser on school computers, Chromebooks and tablets, as well as in the Android app. Pupils' names on leaderboards are public, so ask them to use nicknames. The Privacy Policy sets out what is kept and where; a school may want to check it against its own data protection policy.

How do I delete my child's data?

A parent or guardian can delete an account and its data at any time. See Delete your account and data.

How do I contact you about privacy?

Email support@mathworkout.app. Math Workout is made by Workout Games & Education, registered in England and Wales.
