No sound or music

Why is there no sound at all?

Work through these:

1. Tap the screen once. Browsers only allow sound after your first tap or key press, so the menu music starts then.
2. Check Settings. Open Settings and look at the Sound card: Sound Effects and Music are separate switches. Turn on the one you are missing.
3. Check the space games' speaker. The speaker button in Galaxy Run and Prime Raiders turns Sound Effects off for the whole app. Tap it again, or switch Sound Effects back on in Settings.
4. Check your device. Turn the volume up, and make sure the phone is not muted or on silent, and that the browser tab is not muted.

There is sound, but no music. Why?

Music has its own switch: Music in Settings. The music in Galaxy Run and Prime Raiders also needs Sound Effects on. Some screens, such as a workout round, have no music on purpose.

How do I turn off the music but keep the sounds?

Switch Music off in Settings and leave Sound Effects on.

Why can I not hear Doc?

Doc's voice is off until you turn it on in Settings (Doc's voice), and it is only in English. It also needs Sound Effects on.

Why can I not hear the questions in Mental Math Master?

They are read by your device's own speech voice. Turn the volume up, and check that your phone or computer has a speech voice set up for your language. If it has none at all, the questions are shown written instead. On an iPhone, the voice starts after you tap START.

How do I turn off the pencil sound when writing?

On the handwriting pad, tap the speaker button next to CLEAR.
