You can buy Math Workout Pro in the Android app or on the website. Either way it is one payment, for good.
How do I buy Pro in the Android app?
- Tap GO PRO on the Pro screen. It opens from the BASIC chip on the home screen, from Settings, or when you reach a Pro feature.
- Google Play's purchase sheet opens. Confirm with your usual Google Play payment method.
- Math Workout confirms the purchase with our server ("Confirming your purchase…") and you are Pro.
You do not need a Math Workout account to buy in the app. Signing in first is a good idea, so Pro follows you to the website and other devices.
How do I buy Pro on the website, a computer or an iPhone?
- Open the Pro screen and tap GO PRO. If you are not signed in, it says Sign in to continue: Pro bought on the website belongs to your account, so it works on all your devices.
- You go to a secure checkout page run by our payment provider, Stripe, to pay by card.
- After paying you come back to Math Workout, which unlocks Pro as soon as our server has the payment. If it takes a moment, it says "Purchase received. It may take a moment to unlock."
There is no iPhone app, so on an iPhone or iPad you buy Pro this way, in Safari.
How much does Pro cost?
It depends on your country. The Pro screen shows the price for you, and you see it again on Google Play's sheet or the checkout page before you confirm. In the app the price comes straight from Google Play. On the website it comes from our price list for the country you are connecting from; in some countries that price is in US dollars.
Why is the price different in the app and on the website?
The website's prices follow Google Play's prices for each country, but the two lists are kept separately, so they can differ a little from time to time.
Can I pay in another way?
In the app, Google Play offers the payment methods available in your country. On the website, the checkout page shows the ways you can pay.
What if my payment does not go through?
In the app you see "That payment didn't go through, and nothing was charged." Try again or choose another payment method. If it says "Purchases aren't available right now", Google Play cannot sell here at the moment: try again later. On the website, a declined card is shown on the checkout page, and going back charges nothing.
Why can't I buy Pro in my country?
In the Android app, where Google Play cannot sell Pro, Math Workout does not show the Pro screen, a price or a buy button. Instead, when you tap something that is part of Pro, a short note says "Pro can't be bought in your country right now. All free workouts stay open.", with OK and Restore purchase. In Settings, the Math Workout Pro card shows the same line, with Restore purchase and I have a code.
Every free workout stays open there: there is no daily limit after your free workouts, and Math Run's runs are not limited either. The app asks Google Play again each time it opens or comes back to the front, so if Pro can be bought again, the usual Pro screen returns by itself.
Already bought Pro? Tap Restore purchase, in the note or in Settings, or sign in to the account that has Pro. A Pro code still works with I have a code.
Is there a discount?
Sometimes. See The one-time Pro offer. A promotion code from us can be entered on the website checkout page: see Pro codes and promo codes.
